Four NESCAC Athletes Earn AHCA Women's Ice Hockey All-America Honors

HADLEY, Mass. -  Four players from the NESCAC earned spots on the 2023 CCM Hockey/AHCA All-American Teams. Amherst rookie Natalie Stott and Hamilton senior Abby Kuhns were First Team selections in the East while the Continentals' Nancy Loh and Colby junior Meg Rittenhouse were selected for the Second Team in the East.

Stott was voted the NESCAC Rookie of the Year and earned a spot on the All-NESCAC First Team. Stott leads Division III with 14 shutouts and a 24-3-0 record in net. She did not surrender a goal in the NESCAC Championship to help the Mammoths win their fifth conference title. Stott made 28 saves in a win over Colby to help Amherst reach the semifinal round of the NCAA Tournament where the Mammoths will face NESCAC foe Hamilton in a rematch of the NESCAC Championship game.

Kuhns, the NESCAC Player of the Year and All-NESCAC First Team honoree is tied for the team lead with 15 assists, including a helper in the Continentals NCAA First-Round victory over Nazareth, and ranks third with 22 points in 29 games. Six of her seven goals have been scored on the power play and she leads the Continentals in blocked shots with 33.

Loh was an All-NESCAC First Team selection and propelled the Continentals into the NESCAC Championship game with a hat trick in a semifinal victory over Colby. Loh leads the squad with 27 points and the NESCAC with 21 goals, including eight game-winners, and six helpers. Loh recorded a goal and an assist in Hamilton's first NCAA Tournament victory over Nazareth in the first round.
